klatre.nu — climbing conditions map for Norway & Sweden
Do you just want to go climbing — now?!
klatre.nu (climbing.now) shows which climbing crags are dry across Norway and Sweden. It maps over 5,600 crags with live weather and a short dry-rock forecast, so you can see where the rock is likely dry before you get out.
How the dry-rock forecast works
A crag is marked dry today when three things are true:
- yesterday’s rainfall was under 2 mm,
- the wettest of the previous three days was under 5 mm,
- today’s precipitation probability is below 30%.
Crags are coloured green (dry), blue (wet) or grey (no data), and a 14-day date slider lets you scrub the forecast forward and back.
Coverage
The first target markets are Norway and Sweden, with more than 5,600 crags carrying live condition data. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo and map data by Leaflet.

klatre.nu is built to respect your privacy. We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or advertising, and we do not create user accounts or collect personal information.
- No tracking. The site stores nothing about you and sets no cookies.
- Third-party content. Map tiles and weather data are loaded from OpenStreetMap and Open-Meteo. As with any website, those providers may log your IP address to serve the request; we have no access to those logs.
- Email. If you email us, we only use your message to reply and do not share it.
